Why you'd want it

dsh-TUI is an interactive terminal UI for DeepSeek Harness (DSH) with live work status, streaming thinking, a context progress bar, a TPS gauge and double-Esc time rewind. The README says it consumes only DSH's public exports and that uninstalling leaves no patches behind. A single session manager covers /resume, background sessions and workspaces, and dsh-tui migrate imports Claude Code, Codex, OMP, zcode or Grok Build conversation histories into the DSH session store (the README says the source store is only read). Experimental backends run the same interface on Claude, through the Claude Agent SDK, or on Codex, through codex app-server.

Best for

  • A full terminal UI over DeepSeek Harness
  • Importing old Claude Code or Codex sessions
  • Trying Claude or Codex behind one interface

Use it when

You already use DeepSeek Harness and want a terminal front end with a session manager, context and token gauges, and mouse support. It also fits if you want to switch between DSH, Claude and Codex backends from one interface.

Skip it if

The README badges it public beta and marks the Claude and Codex backends experimental; for Codex it says real subscription login, credentialed model calls and real-TTY interaction were not run. It needs DeepSeek Harness and Node, has no sandbox of its own, the Windows profile defaults to danger-full-access with approval set to never, and DSH profiles inherit reporting defaults that send plugin identities and session logs to the configured baseURL. It handles API keys and sign-in tokens, and its extensions include browser interaction and computer use.

Editor's note

The README is long and mostly changelog-style feature detail. It reports being featured by DeepSeek Harness channels and ranked on GitHub Trending; not checked here. First run needs pnpm, and Git URL installs are not supported.

Desktop app that runs Claude Code, Codex and other agent CLIs as a team coordinated by one agent

    Build from source

    cd munder-difflin
npm install # postinstall rebuilds node-pty against Electron's ABI
npm run dev # launches the Electron app with hot reload
Use it when, skip it if, stats for Munder Difflin

    Why you'd want it

Munder Difflin is an Electron desktop app that wraps terminal agent CLIs such as Claude Code and Codex, each running as a real process in its own pseudo-terminal. You brief one orchestrator agent, which the README calls Michael or the GOD agent, and it assigns work and routes messages between agents through mailboxes in a shared hive of plain files. Spend, scope and destructive operations are escalated to an approvals queue for you, and the README says each agent has configurable autonomy and a circuit breaker for loops. Agents keep markdown memory with an optional semantic recall index, and per-agent git worktrees are available as optional isolation. It uses the subscriptions you already have for the CLIs, with bring-your-own keys and local models as options.

    Best for

    • Running several Claude Code and Codex agents in parallel
    • Briefing one orchestrator instead of many agents
    • Watching and steering agent terminals from one window

    Use it when

You already use agent CLIs such as Claude Code or Codex and want several running on your own machine, coordinated by one orchestrator agent with human approval for spend and destructive operations.

    Skip it if

The README calls it pre-release software, and it is an Electron desktop app that needs at least one agent CLI already installed, not a library or a headless tool. It runs real agent CLIs as processes you configure the autonomy of, stores provider keys and custom secrets, accepts inbound webhooks, and its dictation feature asks for Microphone and Accessibility permissions on macOS, so review the autonomy and permission settings before use. Official builds send anonymous usage events (opt out in Settings, with DO_NOT_TRACK, or by building from source), and the Pro tier with the Stapler and new sidebar is paid.

    Run with npx

    npx ccusage@latest
Use it when, skip it if, stats for ccusage

    Why you'd want it

ccusage reads the usage data that coding agent CLIs store locally and turns it into daily, weekly, monthly and session reports, with per-model breakdowns and separate cache token counts. One report covers Claude Code, Codex, OpenCode, Gemini CLI, GitHub Copilot CLI and more than a dozen other tools, and there are Claude Code extras such as 5-hour billing window reports and a status line integration. Output is a table or JSON, and an offline mode uses cached pricing data.

    Best for

    • Tracking spend across several coding agents
    • Claude Code users watching 5-hour usage windows
    • Exporting usage as JSON for your own dashboards

    Use it when

You want to see how many tokens and dollars your coding agent sessions use, by day, model, session or project.

    Skip it if

You need team-wide spend tracking: it only reads local data on the machine where it runs. Costs are calculated from LiteLLM pricing data, not read from your provider bill.

Gives a coding agent skills, a CLI and a shared knowledge base for modding PC games you own

Install as a Claude Code plugin

    /plugin marketplace add rehan-remade/universal-modder
    /plugin install universal-modder@universal-modder
Use it when, skip it if, stats for universal-modder

    Why you'd want it

universal-modder packages Agent Skills, three subagents and a Python CLI called um that a coding agent uses to mod a game: um scan finds Steam, Epic and Xbox installs and fingerprints the engine, loaders, anti-cheat and save folders, um backup snapshots saves, and um fal, um sprite and um render3d make and fit art, 3D and audio for the engine. The mod-any-game skill runs a fixed loop of recon, a backed-up lab, reading the real code, building one slice, testing it in the running game and writing a field note. Those field notes live in a knowledge base in the repo that agents search with um kb before starting and add to by pull request.

    Best for

    • Modding single-player PC games with an agent
    • Generating sprites and 3D assets for mods
    • Reusing other agents' modding notes

    Use it when

You want Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI or another agent to work out how a game you own is built and ship a mod for it, with assets and an in-game test.

    Skip it if

You play online games with anti-cheat: its own safety notes say injecting into an online client breaks the game's terms and gets accounts banned, and it refuses to do so. It touches game folders, saves, processes and your mouse and keyboard (asking first), asset generation needs a fal API key or a local ComfyUI server, and the repo is about two weeks old with no tagged release.
